Sometimes you want to make an entire column clickable in Divi. All you need to do is add a button the the bottom of the column and restyle it using CSS to:

  • Make the button transparent
  • Expand the button to cover the entire column

Example

Normal Column with Text, Image and Button Modules

Same Column with CSS to Style Button as Transparent and Expanded to Cover Entire Column

Lorem Ipsum

Lorem Ipsum

To make the column clickable, I added “clickcolbutton” to the button’s CSS class field.

Then I added the CSS code:

.clickcolbutton {
 position: absolute;
 top: 0;
 left: 0;
 width: 100%;
 height: 100%;
 opacity: 0;
 border: 0 !important;
 background: transparent !important;
 color: transparent !important;
 z-index: 9999;
}
